La “Chilindrina“, personaje interpretado por la actriz María Antonieta de las Nieves, estableció un récord mundial Guinness por la carrera profesional más larga de una artista interpretando a un mismo personaje infantil durante 48 años y 261 días (desde el 20 junio de 1971 hasta el 6 marzo de 2020).

¿Quién es María Antonieta de las Nieves?
María Antonieta de las Nieves se apasionó por las artes desde muy pequeña; a sus 3 años comenzó a estudiar ballet, danza y baile internacional. Poco después, dio sus primeros pasos en la televisión mexicana bailando tap y danza española, e hizo su primer debut como actriz en el Cuento de Enrique Alonso “Cachirulo”, “El pájaro azul”.
Más adelante, de acuerdo con la información de Guinness, Nieves se unió a Televisa para hacer doblajes de películas y series americanas. A los 19 años comenzó su carrera de comediante y sacó el título de locutora. En 1971 apareció en la serie del “Chavo del 8” como “La Chilindrina”, el personaje que ella creó tres años antes de comenzar el programa con Roberto Gómez Bolaños.

La “Chilindrina” es un personaje que representa a una niña de 8 años de edad, alegre, carismática, inteligente y muy apegada a su padre, don Ramón.
La curiosidad y gran personalidad de la “Chilindrina” hizo que con sus amigos del vecindario, entre ellos el “Chavo”, “Quico”, “Popis” y “Noño”, vivieran diferentes experiencias y aventuras del día a día con humor, travesuras y ternura.
La “Chilindrina” enamoró al público y se convirtió en un ícono cultural mexicano y unos de los personajes más queridos por los países hispanohablantes.
