Eduardo Osuna, vicepresidente y director general de BBVA México, informó que entregaron más tarjetas de crédito a los consumidores mexicanos, y que también otorgaron más financiamiento a pymes, lo que permitió que el grupo financiero tuviera resultados positivos al tercer trimestre del año.
La institución financiera ha colocado más de 1.4 millones de tarjetas en 2022, 51.1% más que las otorgadas en enero y septiembre de 2021. De la misma forma, se ha impulsado un mayor nivel de facturación, siendo 24.7% superior al cierre de septiembre del año previo”, sostuvo Osuna.
En cuanto a las pymes, el ejecutivo sostuvo que la cartera de dicho segmento superó los 93 mil millones de pesos, avance de 18.6%.
Ganancias sólidas
En conferencia de prensa, Osuna señaló que la utilidad neta de BBVA en los primeros nueve meses del año llegó a 62 mil 499 millones de pesos, cantidad 35.7% superior a la de 2021 y que se vio impulsada por la mayor demanda crediticia en el país.

Más cuentas
Osuna también se refirió al panorama que atraviesan las cuentas abandonadas, y consideró que lo que se esperaría de la nueva ley es que haya más claridad respecto de los medios de notificación para los clientes sobre el estatus de dichas cuentas, así como y que la gente pudiera recuperar su dinero si vuelve por el después del tiempo establecido, con cargo a las mismas cuentas inactivas.
Destacó que 27 por ciento de las cuentas inactivas que reportó recientemente la Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores (CNBV), pertenece a BBVA y equivale a cinco mil 882 millones de pesos. Sin embargo, dijo que también hay una cartera sana.
