Por eso, desde el viernes pasado se hizo tendencia el uso de Mastodon, una aplicación de microblogging que significa una alternativa para quienes ya no están conformes con Twitter.
De hecho la aplicación registró un récord de suscripciones, pues más de 70,000 cuentas se abrieron en un solo día. Hasta envió una indirecta a Musk.

¿Qué es Mastodon?
Mastodon no es una plataforma nueva, ya que nació en 2016 como un servicio de microblogging gratuito y de código abierto. Utiliza hashtags, likes y funciones para compartir publicaciones.
La diferencia es que cada usuario puede suscribirse a servidores individuales con tópicos, reglas y políticas de moderación diferentes. Además pueden acceder a Mastodon a través de aplicaciones terceras.
Mastodon está disponible, al igual que otras redes sociales, en modalidad web y para descargar en forma de aplicación.
Para entrar a ella basta con descargar Mastodon en la tienda de aplicaciones, elegir un servidor al cual conectarse con base en intereses y políticas, encontrar personas, configurar el perfil personal y distribuir contenido.
