El deporte de las cachetadas, ‘Power Slap’, está rodeado de polémica, luego de que se ventilara el monto que le ofrecieron a Eric Spicely, expeleador de la UFC, para que pudiera participar.
“Fui contactado para participar en la Power Slap League, chicos. Van a quedar en shock cuando les cuente cuánto dinero están ofreciendo”, publicó Eric Spicely en redes sociales.
“Son dos mil por participar y otros dos mil por ganar”, agregó.
Convertido a pesos mexicanos y con un precio de cambio de 18.81, serían 37 mil 624.
Según, el expeleador de la UFC rechazó la oferta por ver a competidores con el rostro casi desfigurado y, además, de que la cantidad ofrecida no cubre los gastos médicos que se requieren.
En un momento, Dana White, presidente de la UFC, fue el encargado de convertirlo en un deporte real y está enfocado para el aficionado a los deportes modernos.
“Sabía lo que había que hacer para convertirlo en un deporte real, tal como lo hicimos con las Artes Marciales Mixtas. Estamos regulados por la Comisión Atlética del Estado de Nevada con reglas definidas, clasificaciones, categorías de peso. “Power Slap” está diseñado para el aficionado a los deportes modernos”, señaló.
Los combates de Power Slap los puede visualizar en el canal de la UFC.
Por su parte, la UFC no se ha pronunciado para desmentir o confirmar la cantidad citada.
